I ordered a set of decals from him a few weeks ago - took two weeks for the package to finally arrive and it never showed any tracking details until it arrived in the mail.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

I'm back from a 5 day trip to the Blue Ridge mountains in NC where we pushed the Z3 through lots of awesome mountain twisties. Weather was colder than most years and we had a day washed out by really hard rains but it was still a great break. This was the 21st year we've gone and met friends there - missed it last year.

Saw this in today's paper. Ahh, the lost art of driving a manual transmission.

Enjoy the day and be safe!!

    looks good.

It will fit, but you need to trim one of the tabs on the frame which locates the spare. trim the back one off.

I have had people give me the finger or blow their horns and flash their lights because I am doing at the most 5 MPH over the posted construction site speed limit. My answer to them is :luvya:. I wouldn't want to have to live with the knowledge that because of my speeding I injured a worker.

It is a pain not being able to do much Greg, but you also don't want to rush it and do damage to what was repaired. Hang in there, time will pass.

    Mornin' PA! :hattip:

Supposed to be upwards of 80° today so some lawn work is in order. Probably gonna take the mulching blades off the rider; grass is getting too thick for that. The Honda is pretty much a full time mulcher, so I'll just have to deal with that.

Heh, if we went to crank windows and stick shifts, we'd cripple an entire generation. There's a group of younger "tuner" kids in the neighborhood and most of their little cars are automatic. I think they'd "die" trying to drive my beater Talon with the grabby stage II clutch. They're really just mad my exhaust is louder than theirs

Funny we r talking about this cause I just heard today that there is a new law that starts today or really an amended one , move over law , used to be just for emergency vehicles, now its for any vehicle. Well here is what it reads. "The law requires drivers to change lanes or slow down to 20 miles per hour slower than the posted speed limit when they pass by an emergency response area where police, first responders or tow trucks may be staged. It also requires drivers to change lanes or slow down when approaching disabled vehicles when at least two emergency displays, such as vehicle hazard lamps, road flares, and/or cones or caution signs are present." Kind of common sense if u ask me but I guess they have to spell it out in legalezze.

I didn't realize how slow some of those noisy little broken spring looking cars were until I dusted one of them with my 66 Ford station wagon. That little car made so much noise I couldn't hear my own.

The dudes girl was with him -- and he got left behind at a stoplight by a 50 year old station wagon. :D:rofl:KIMG0332.jpg

I honestly did not either. I had ridden in this thing many of times back in the day, I guess back then it was considered "fast". Like you said, it makes more noise than anything. You'd think 140HP in a 2500lb car would be somewhat swift, but this thing is as fast as a snail with a hard on :rofl:I will say I've been all over creation in this thing and the gas gauge is still slightly below 3/4 a tank. I can take that, I would be on "E" in the Tacoma.

I have never really had an economy car, if I enjoy what I'm driving then it really doesn't matter much to me.
Best: Oldsmobile Delta 88 (fwd) 29-30 mpg at 70 with air conditioner on
Worst: F-250 with 460 engine (7.5 liter for our metric readers) 7.5 mpg in town , up to 11 on the highway :woot:

Holy shit, you just brought me down memory lane with that one. My first car was an '87. Me and my dad painted it and I went to the junk yard and found a nice luggage rack. Thing was a sharp looking car. I had 4 12" sub woofers in the trunk with room to spare. The back seat was huge as well :spy:

Mine was an 87 as well, same car in gray. It was the first "nice" car I ever had for myself, my (then) wife got the good ones, I always had the clunkers and wheezers.
    Nice:
$600 with a good inspection sticker
    No holes in the floor
No wires hanging from under the dash
A complete exhaust system with a muffler and no flex pipe or coat hangers
    Stereo
    Air Conditioning!!
Only 211,000 miles when I got it. I quit driving it at 280,000 because the fuel lines leaked. All these years later I still regret not fixing it, just couldn't do it at the time. :( It was probably the easiest car to live with I have ever had, it just did everything effortlessly and well.

Must have had the same wife...LOL. (Still married to mine) but I drove all the clunkers. My BIL named a few. I had the belch fire, the ghetto cruiser and of course the slum sled :D. Looked like crap but they were reliable. Didn't get my first new one until 2007 when I got my Tacoma.
