Used them last night! I had only been using the Walmart pit boss stuff, so it’s not a fair comparison, but these are sweet. Get up to heat faster and burn much more consistent on temp - less fluctuation. I’m on a cheap chargriller pellet grill too

They have been great so far, have not yet seen how much ash they make though.

I need to pay for and pick up my pellets. Killed about half a bag on a smoke last night. Man, those pellets go fast, good bit faster than wood chunks and briquettes.

Hey guys. I just found out this thread existed... I’m in Charlotte right in the city.

I have a favor to potentially ask of someone in the area: I need to program a chip key for my 2014. Anyone in the area have the tools for that?

I used to have access to an Autel tool that could do this, but not anymore so if someone has one of them that would be awesome. Of course I am not expecting this for free... but figured I would turn here before going to a lock smith.

While I am at it... anyone have a rear bumper laying around collecting dust?

    A few bolts are different.
Is it a G or H key? I have an obd2 programmer which I have never used, so I don’t know if it really works or not.

it’s a G key. Im only familiar with the autel but I am sure other “higher end” obd2 tools would work. Which programmer do you have?

    I appreciate the response!

Is that a third gen thing or a RCI thing? My 2nd Gen SOS skids are flat. I think I'd rather they sit a little lower and be flat than have the bumpout to snag.

Thanks, it's been so nice having the home gym during Covid. (disregard the Yak, was just prepping for a trip)

Maybe just an RCI thing. It’s the same way for 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma’s

I might be able to do it with TechStream. I programmed two keys for my GX that way.

I never got to use it. The shipping took forever and I had the key that needed programmed done at the dealer when I had the fuel pump recall done. I still feel taken advantage of.

    I’m near mtn island
