Two and a half years later they offered 1500 more then I paid for it. Resale on my 3rd gen seems to be holding strong. ‍♂️

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I would never even consider buying a 2WD pickup or SUV. For me, it's 4WD/AWD or nothing.

My dad, OTOH, lives in Atlanta where it never snows and he'd say 4WD is a waste of money. He's presently in a 2WD GMC pickup.

Once again, everyone has an opinion.

I think NC has a pretty similar climate to GA so I would agree with him that 4x4 is probably a complete waste in the south east unless you live rural. But the question was more about which options on the truck resale better. I.e. does everyone want a short cab 4x4 generally etc? I may not hold the truck long so I want to make sure I buy one that has strong residual demand. I'm assuming a TRD Pro 4x4 has more demand than an SR 4x2 for example.

Is there a way to see how many particular tacomas sold or what the most popular tacoma sellers are?
