You are going with the AT for the look I am guessing?

You will get better gas mileage with street tires if you do not plan on playing off road. :anonymous:

I had a set of those tires on my last truck 2500 ram diesel. there excellent in my opinion never had a problem with them not balancing or wear. I would not recommend as an offroad tire but for daily driver I'd buy them again for sure...

Tired of changing tires every season so I wanted a tire that is rated for winter and can stay on all year. And it looks kinda knar. :0) I'm not saying I won't go off road but it will be to get somewhere not to go off-roading.
    These will be 17s still.

I drove alot of gravel roads with them, its good for that. My truck was heavy so mud and wet grass was not so good. Mine were D rated I hauled trailers and used that truck good, don't rally care what you get but you will not be dissappointed with that tire, and if i can remember correctly there were only something like 340/tire for a 35 12.5 17 that was years ago though.... good luck with your decision...

They are 265/65r17s $158 plus HST per tire for anyone interested. A little bit less for me. He can also get Weather_tech mats a bit cheaper than others at $ 140 plus HST . Those are fronts only laser fit. The ones that are usually $160. or you can get the full set for $239 plus HST
I would just PM whomever is interested and you can deal direct with my friend. He's in Hamilton area.

Check out TireRack reviews filtered by brand (so they're from vehicles with similar weight as yours). It's a much better statistical sample size than the few people on this board: https://www.tirerack.com/survey/Sur...7AT51V2&tirePageLocQty=&partnum=665TR7AT51V2#

Seems like an average AT tire.

without getting into specifics on this tire but considering cheaper tires in general...if you are willing to pay a little more up front for savings down the road there is a reasonable argument that your total cost over the life of the tire is actually less with something like a Michelin when you consider fuel economy and longer life and you will typically get better performance along the way. :crapstorm:

I agree. In all the years I have purchased tires for the cars I've owned, I have noticed that spending that little extra for a better quality tire you get better performance and longevity. Doesn't mean it's always the case but for the most part it's true. Especially performance across all conditions.

I read the Tire rack reviews on these tires yesterday but thought I would get input from local Tacoma drivers. I agree with you. I usually like to buy something a little better even if it cost a bit more.
    Thanks Guys!

I had a set of Yokohama G015 that did really well, it was amazing in snow and did decent on easy trails, actually better than I expected, and they lasted for about 90k km on one set.
