That's a big damn ride. And ending with the DH, good job man!

Just went through this actually. I got sick of shoveling out someone else's fire pit, urine, food, beer can, bottles, etc... I didn't like the W&G because it was too close to the ground. I loved the SOLO Stove, but damn pricey. Ended up with the Fireside popup. Up off the ground, catch tray, shielded, and easy to fold, multi fuel, burns every last bit of wood. Takes upon less space than most camp chairs, easy to set up. Plus, you can get a grill for the top of it.
Hoping this year won't be as bad as last in terms of wildfires. Waking up to burnt pine needles scattered across the car hood daily, huge fire a mile away from our house, worrying about our home, local bike trails destroyed, couldn't ride most days, it was a scary summer. Though, this year looks like it'll be worse. I hope people keep their desire for campfires in check, but I'm hot too optimistic.

Also the kryptonite chain came in and I figured when I’m not using it on the bike travels I can use it in the gym for pull-ups. Damn things bulkier than I thought it’d be.

Ran those flats on my last bike. Loved them! Good platform, beefy and can take a beating. The only comparable I’ve found are the Deity T-MAC’s.

Thank you, those seem like great options. The fireside looks like something I wanna pick up this summer. The solo stove looks a bit too big

Particularly MH DH. After a ride like that, my arms and legs are so spent that taking on a harder DH doesn't usually end well...:bikewhoops:

On a personal note; I just signed the contract and I'm officially working in Park City next year! Moving back to Cottonwood Heights this June.
The school I'm teaching at has a bike park literally across the street, and not to mention the countless miles right on the way to work/home. Pumped to get back to UT, live at the mouth of Big and Little Cottonwood, work in PC....

Welcome back! here's your reintroduction packet. Here's also your book of mormon to fit in...You need to be at 1 orientation session. These happen on the first sundays of every month at a randomly chosen time of day at a wildly chosen location and it may not hapen on the first sunday of every month. or rather on an unpredictable interval of every other week or every other 3rd week or so. There's two things to remember...on wednesdays we wear pink and we tell everyone we're full and make everyone else hate us. :D :D

yeahhhh I mean I like have the *range* of my 12 speed... but idk if I really use all 12 gears.

Someone in pinkbike comments mentioned this drive-train would be ideal for e-bikes. i think that's a good take on it.
