    true that, with it cranked all the way on recirc it will freeze my ass out of the cab. even when I lived in houston and was sitting in I10 stop and go in 100 deg weather I did not doubt the power of the tacoma AC

    it only stopped working because the bumper rubbed through one of the lines going into the dryer and let the magic spooge out

    My seatbelt tends to get wet when it rains...but it's because it doesn't retract at all and I usually forget to make sure it isn't hanging out of the bottom of the door :homer:

    Yeah that's new-ish, new one put in after the e-fans shat the bed a few years ago.

    They just called to tell me they finished their test and it's leaking at the AC compressor

    I was doing some reading on it and there's some threads on here where it happens to people (drivers side belt) and no one can figure out why.

    But in my case, it's kind of hard not to think the roof rack mounts are to blame.

    $800 all in, asked him to break it down for me and it's a few hours labor plus $300 for the kit. I guess that's about average from what I'm seeing online, looks like anywhere from $150 - $400 for a new compressor kit depending.

    anybody know what the plastic box is behind the bumper on my passenger side?

    Looks like relay for the side marker lights tuck into it or something; going to be pulling plastics and the mud flaps to get ready for the cuts

    Must be a Toyota thing, my wife's Rav4 is the same way. Come to think of it her old Honda was, too.

    I'm just sensitive to working AC systems because mine has been shit for so long.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Installed new Bilstein 5100s so I can;

    1. Get my reservoir replaced

    2. Consider going longer stroke for future outboard relocation

    It's not about the length of the stroke it's about how you use it
