I'm very satisfied with it. It offers more clearance, has survived a fender bender with zero damage, and provides solid recovery points.

Installation is about as easy as it comes. You'll spend more time disassembling your old bumper, than you will installing the RCI bumper. Honestly, the longest effort for me, was wiring in the reverse lights.

The only negative I have to offer, is the loss of BSM and cross traffic alert. However, I've had my bumper for a couple years now, and I haven't had an accident or a close call, due to not having BSM.

That's honestly what finally triggered me to purchase the RCI bumper. The BSM just never worked consistently, so I had very little heartburn ditching it.

Ok I concede, You guys are right. Buying extra racks or playing Tetris to get things angled just right to fit in are far superior to a longbed that you can just toss shit in and drive off. o_O

I don't think I was trying to convince you. Just explaining that your rational doesn't apply to everyone's situation.

If I use my truck as a dishwasher, I really don't see why you'd concern yourself with it...

With a Maestro it does, however you'd only be buying whatever came in the box and I'd keep the Maestro/parking override and the extras I bought (since my new stereo is compatible and going into another Taco.)

Using a Maestro you could even remap the seek/volume buttons to match literally every other car ever (and also common sense...) --which I will be requesting for the next install.

The headunit is great and the display is giant. I think I paid $1,050 new and would keep it but found an even larger screen. It's still not Tesla big, but 1" is 1".

ahhh I see. Can you send me a link to that part by chance? If you are going into a new taco I am assuming why not keep the alpine

    For the Alpine?

Kind of trying to scrounge cash because this out of state dealer wants the truck paid off in full before pick-up.

I could be persuaded to trade depending what you've got.
