Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Just hanging out I guess. There are two inside, the outside one has been scrapped. These haven’t run since 99 or 2000.

 

Could you round up a crane and a couple of friends if I show up with a low-loader?

 

Might take more than that. It’s literally built into the building. the basement has the crankcase and counterweights, and it’s mounted on springs which is neat.

 

Okay.. a half-dozen friends and a few sticks of 40% stumping powder?

 

100psi air hose we use for blowing down the equipment just let go. Right under our twin saw and main catwalk. It also split in such a way, that much like the stretched mouth of a balloon, it was screaming and squealing like hell. Cue five guys coming over the radio all at once asking what the hell is going on and frantically shutting down every machine nearby to try and stop the noise/imagined damage. Whoever routed the feed line for the air hose reel put the ball valve 10 feet off the ground above a hydraulic tank, so I had to do some quick climbing to shut off the air.

Favorite bit of this though was about 30 seconds after I shut the air off, one of the guys calls over the radio "okay... I needed to wake up, but I didn't need to shit myself."

That vice has seen some shit!

 

Cole weedeated before I mowed. He came in nasty. He weedeated a lot more than he should have but he had fun.

 

Hey , that's when u know ur getting it done. Don't wear a suit to do yardwork.

 

That's the best looking vice we have... our main vice takes two full rotations of the handle before it moves when changing direction. And has a good half inch of slop up and down back and forth.

 

Hope you dont have chiggers there

 

We do but usually not around the house. When we go exploring in the taller grass, woods, etc. where we hunt is when we get chiggers.
