Picking up a voodoo blue TRD Sport in STL mid-May. Driving to Ohio for a couple weeks, then back to Oregon.

Not sold on the hood tumor (scoop), and am likely going to trade.

If you're got a brand-new condition voodoo hood, and are along my route at any point, let's talk.

If someone made a low-profile scoop replacement I'd be happier, but man is that hard to Google for...

If it had 3M protection covering the whole hood, I would be all over it as I'm an hour or so north. My non-scoped hood has 3M and 300 miles. Good luck with the trade.

I have a MGM non-scoop hood on my 2021 with 3,000 miles. Looking for a scoop hood and someone to give $500 to…

 

Any of you guys aware of an aftermarket scoop replacement that's lower profile? I like to indented hood look but since the scoop does jack-all, it seems like it could be half as tall and would look much better.

Does anyone make one that's meant to replace the OEM and not to skewp a flat hood?

The insert is only the front edge of the bump. Since the bump is actually a part of the hood, nothing short of replacement will work. I don’t know of any aftermarket that are lower, but there may be. Hope that helps.

I did not! Does it look like it's missing an insert? Or do the scoops all open up completely like that?

 

You would need the few insert pieces, but you can get those from dealers. Maybe another $100 or so depending on how much you search.
That said, you can get the hood itself from some dealers for under 400 if you find one on sale.
