Put Ginger to work today -- real truck work. Was going to take the mowers with the old F-250 as usual but to quote CW McCall "the pedal went clear to the floor" -- no brakes.
Time to earn that top tier fuel Ginger! The only things this truck has hauled is a mattress and a tool box from Harbor Freight. (to hold all the detailing crap I buy to try to keep it shiny)

If you got every option back in 1971 you probably still wouldn't touch $5000. My how the years go by... :pout:

    That’s a hefty price tag.

I can think of a bunch of other cool things to buy for 25K.

ultimately, if that’s what tickles his fancy then go for it.

I bet it’s cherry for that much $$$

Are those actually seat covers or did they just lay some furs on the seats. It disturbs me how much I like the appearance of those seats.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!! It's hump day!!! Time to cut the grass and assorted other projects. I have the license plate light shut off in reverse harness sitting on my work bench - think I'll knock that out today.

    Be safe!!

Good Morning PA Folks :hattip:. Looks like it's going to be a hot one today:thumbsup:.

Keep some Tylenol(it's the only one they recommend to use with the shot) on hand if you have any aches from the shot. Rest up and hopefully you won't have any side effects. Seems the shot affects everyone differently. Anywhere from no issues to in bed for 3 days . Good luck Charlie :fingerscrossed:.

Have a great day folks and be safe.

Thanks. I don't know if we have tylenol. We have Alleve. On Friday I have 10 tons of gravel coming. It has to be spread throughout part of my driveway. That sounds like a great deal, but it really isn't. Still. It will take some effort. I hope I am not down and out. My dog counts on me everyday for at least one walk and I am the one who gets my grandson up and ready for school. Fortunately, I don't have a job to worry about.

Hope you are okay after the shot Charlie. They say Alleve and other pain meds weaken the strength of the shot. Ask when you get the shot and see what they say. Rest today and :fingerscrossed: you should be okay.

You can't say the guys who deliver gravel don't have a sense of humor -- I asked for "tailgate spread" and found a Volkswagen shaped pile of gravel at one end of an 85 foot driveway.

I am sitting here at the moment. So far so good. The nurse who administered my shot said those who have a bad reaction probably had COVID.

I think that's true for strong reactions to the FIRST shot. The second shot can produce strong reactions because you've already had the first shot -- no need to have had COVID.

Either way, I feel fine. I took the dog for a walk after I got back. I thought I might need to rest, but my energy level is fine. I am staying hydrated to help, but no pain reliver needed, other than my arm feeling sore at the injection site.
