I appreciate that Rob! Addie is a fighter and I believe we are gonna have our hands full with this one! Which makes me smile widely!

Thank you Dan! I love that word! Saturday evening after Addie had a bottle which she finished in no time, she became a little fussy. My Son patted her back of course to burp her but nothing happened. So Pappy took her in my arms. Her belly felt tight like she was bloated, I started lightly rubbing her belly and she feel asleep! And snore, oh my gosh! I told my Son that years ago I had to do the same for him. My heart is bursting these days!

C5’s are impressive. We live in the landing path for McChord AFB. While not the C5 we have a squadron of C17’s. They fly tree top level all the time. My wife loves it. I’m good with it unless it’s at 3 in the morning....

Story time...While stationed at RAF Mildenhall, England in 1995, our en route squadron was involved in validating the operational capability for overseas operation of the first squadron of C-17s at Charleston, SC. They would fly in from Dover, DE to us, full download, full upload, refuel, swap crews, and fly back to Dover; rinse and repeat. Kind of a stress test for the new air frame before a second squadron of aircraft were purchased. As part of this my op ctr managed a crew stage, pre-positioned crews that kept rotating in and out as birds came and went. Got to know several pilots really well thru this. Three years later I'm flying back from tdy at Ramstein, Germany, waiting at pax terminal for the bus to Frankfurt for a planned commercial flight back to England. Hear an announcement for space available mil flight to Mildenhall. I get on the flight vs the cmcl flight, saving myself the bus rides on both ends. Once on the aircraft I ask loadmaster who's flying, I knew the pilot and told him to tell him Sgt Anderson from Mildenhall says hello. Next thing I'm in the jumpseat on the flightdeck. The views from there are amazing, like sitting in a fishbowl. Englands stonewalled fields of lush farmland and quaint villages are beautiful from the air. The Maj even manipulated a reverse landing direction so we could fly a semi-circle around Ely Cathedral.

One of the best flights of my life, rivals the F15 incentive flight I got up here in 2004. But that's another story entirely.
