Well, I'm a believer of Trijicon scopes now. The center dot is so fine, that I can line it up in the bullseye @100 yards and still see orange around it. Makes for some really precise shot placement. The irons are zero'd with xm193 and the scope is zero'd to Hornaday 75gr BTHP match. The BTHPs are zero'd @50 yards and hit about an inch high @100 and dead on again @200. I'm extremely pleased with my setups!

The glass is amazing. So crisp and so clear all through the sight picture. Super fine reticles, what's not to like!

speaking of spraypaint..does anyone have a favorite that is closest to parkerized in texture? My Colt AR-9 mags are very slick and smooth bare metal. I spray painted (flat black) them to give them a little texture for easier grip. My SLR rifleworks handguard is hard anodized and is pretty slick too.
I have wondered if the chalkboard spraypaint would produce results closer parkerization? I have read it is very durable.

I used high temp flat black on my C308/G3 clone. Really close to a parkerized finish. 85DD4F41-EB5F-4643-817E-4A1633CE61A4.jpg

Why not just do a actual parkerized finish? It’s easier with a blaster but you don’t NEED one if your not afraid of a little elbow grease and sanding.

Brownells use to have the solution. It’s been some years since I’ve looked..pretty much since cerakote was a thing but I’m willing to bet they still gots it in their inventory.
