    Considering 21309 has been retired & 92176 is temporarily out of stock, Lego’s explanation there wouldn’t be enough interest doesn’t seem to hold up.

    This is Lego we're talking about. Expecting space to be next will likely only lead to disappointment.

    The 3-in-1 pirate ship and castle were released to correspond with Ideas sets - Barracuda Bay and the Blacksmith, respectively. Those releases gave Lego an opportunity to do a small throwback to classic themes.

    I'd love a space throwback as well, but highly doubt it will happen as part of a trend. They've been using the classic space logo on torsos again for a few years now and had the space minifigs and a couple sets from the two Lego Movies, so that probably checks that box to them.

    I still have tubs of Legos. All the way back to the 70's/80's. How about Galaxy Explorer and Alpha 1 Rocket Base?

    Even the ones I see on searching are are not as old as mine. Space ships and castles...

    Picked up the London bus used recently. Only the first bag was opened so it was practically new. A little bit of a repetitive build but I really like how it came out.
