Pretty much, that's what I did. No need to go to the lot, they will put vins in the pictures or listing.

The dealer that installed mine is saying this is due to a shortage on kits

Received similar news from my dealer. I picked up new truck this weekend (after 7-month wait) and had been working with my sales person to ensure we work out kit install during dealer prep, etc. But, they received the "Stop Sale" notice and were not able to get more lift kits. Hell, I called several dealers in the mainland that still had kits on hand, but wasn't able to work a deal to have one shipped to my dealer. What pisses me off most is that instead of a 3-year warranty, it would only be a 1-year warranty if installed after picking up new vehicle.

I wish Toyota would put out a press release and explain exactly why the "Stop Sale.' Is it a parts shortage or has a defect been discovered. Based on all this, I may start exploring other leveling lift options. Only want the 1-2 inches in front and 1 inch rear to remove the rake. Feel free to send some comparable options my way.

Yes. However, don't think you can order separately. Has to be ordered as part of the whole kit. Same as grill.

You can place an order on Toyota's parts website for just the struts/shocks. Not sure if it will get delivered or not but you can submit it.

Don’t know where the issue is with getting the OEM lift, having mine installed today at the dealership.

I want to order the shocks. I just wish i could find some info on what lift would give you at the first and 2nd notch. I see the middle one is listed for the access cab. So I guess maybe that would give me closer to the 1-1.5" i am going for. Not sure if the first notch is factory height though

I have a Cap which I know is extra weight but is anyone else getting sag in the rear?
I'm a good 1/2 in lower in the rear then when the lift went on. I measured when installed both 23"
23" center of hub to bottom of wheel well in front
22 1/2" in the rear now.

Maybe I'll look into an add a leaf to get me another inch in rear and have a 1/2 in rake?

Also another downside is the ride on this lift. Very stiff.
My 2010 trd sport with 3" Toytec Ultimate lift kit was far superior suspension but twice the price.

Positive is my Vibrations at 48mph have disappeared, perhaps due to settling?

seems weird you would loose half inch with a block. did they forget to put the overload back in or something?

I ordered just the shocks only. Some pages back, someone posted a link. Mine are waiting on me now.

i am on the fence about ordering. I am trying to find info on what you get with the other perch settings. Maybe I will be the tester and buy the shocks and run them on the middle perch and see what amount of lift i get

the only thing I found is it says Dcab uses top setting on the shock and access cabs use the middle one.

You just need to know how much space is in between each clip settings and then double it to determine approximately the height change.
