Jumping in, let me have it.

I'd like to be able to get some 285/70/17 BFG KO2s under my 21 TRD OR. I live in Moab so I off road it often.

What are people running to get these to fit without rubbing or damage?

The general answer is 3 inch lift. Try to stay around the 0 offset range. If you go a lot more positive you’ll risk rubbing on the UCA. If you go more negative you’re gonna rub on your cab mount. If you wheel a lot maybe consider a CMC and new UCAs. The UCAs will also help with a bit of rubbing as they will have more caster adjustments for you to play around with and get the right alignment where it won’t rub. Either way- with a CMC and 3 inch lift you’ll clear those with ease with most setups.

This. Thank you. From my research this is what I've thought. I'm saving this.

Got bored of the 17” blast black, changed it to 16x8 -20 on 285/75-16 Cooper STT Pro. These rub on the inner fender flare piece, so I’ll need to do some trimming this weekend.
The Nitto RG was great for the 2k miles or so I had them...I was going to get them again but the STT Pros look so good and some positive reviews for rain traction.

Just put mine on Thursday. Wheel and tire package from TireRack. Took of the TRD Pro on my 21 that had 900 miles on them. Really fills the opening better.

No, mine is not a Pro. It is a SR5 with an X-Predator package that comes with 6 lug in place of 5 and the TRD pro wheels. I have a 3/2 level kit on it.

I am in Charlotte NC and just listed the wheels online here today if interested and in area.

Just joined this club from the 255/85R16 club.

No surface streets rubbing at with 17x9 -12 wheels and OME 2" lift. Offroad will likely scrub some plastic.
