I left work early to get up to South Lake. All day there was spots of blue behind the front. When I left it was just starting to open up to blue sky. I got up there and it closed in within minutes of me getting to the lake. Talk about a head fake. lol

 

You guys actually get seasons?! In SD, our “winter” is 62 and we all become a bunch of pussies and have to be bundled up. I miss the cold.

One of my good friends was in town from Mississippi. He spent last weekend playing golf in Vegas in splendid weather, then showed up here and it was cold and shitty and windy. We were gonna go fish the Truckee today but elected to go shoot guns and go 4 wheeling instead.

My favorite AR-15 lost the front trigger pin in the desert on the first mag, and when we hit pavement, I picked up a fucking lag bolt in my rear passenger tire. Right in the upper sidewall. So there's at least one new tire I get to buy. And a new trigger group for my favorite gun.

Never hang out with your friends. Only bad things will come of it!

 

Love that about north GA. Four seasons. Convertible weather 12 months. (Seat heaters for the cooler days). Warm days in January for a boat ride. No road salt underbody rust. No replacing rotted out exhaust systems. Snow here shovels itself in that it’s gone by end of day, and if it isn’t nobody’s going anywhere anyway. Six hours drive to Gulf Coast sugar sand beaches.

Finger Lakes is “gorge”ous for both weeks of summer but that’s about it.

You'll be impressed. I haven't had a legit on the road flat tire since I was in like high school. Spent 3 hours ripping around offroad and look what I picked up as soon as I hit the highway. It's goddamned amazing.

 

Holy shit. I don't think I've ever seen someone get an 8" carriage bolt in there tire before. Very impressive.

 

My buddy saw it on the road under the UPS truck in front of us. There was nothing I could really do at that point lol
