We here in Burleson have a joke about the weather. We call it the Burleson Bubble. Here’s an image to describe what I mean, and this isn’t a rare occurrence.

 

That's nuts.

My little hurst neighborhood will get the rain but almost never anything severe. No winds or hail. I figured it's because I'm on the lee side of a hill and under a lot of tall tree cover.

Most of my fam is around Eagle Mountain. They always get hammered. Meanwhile I'll pick up the phone after hearing the group text go off and be like

 

It's still dry in crowley. Truck in the garage though....

Well I have my garage ready but it is empty. Still no truck yet. I was told this next Monday. My salesman and I have been tracking the truck for weeks. I got a call that that there was some bad news. He told me that the truck that we have been tracking was not mine and my truck would be here in 2 weeks. I asked him about the one we were tracking and he told me that it was going to someone different. I then decided to finish dinner and drove by the dealership and low and behold I see a truck with my exact specs. I walk in and my guy told me that there were several heated discussions over that truck. The manager told me that the truck was for another guy that has been waiting since November which is funny how when I built it December he had not ordered one like that before. Apparently my salesman was watching the order system and the manager told us that mine was on the BOSS order system and that is why we did not know. Got to love it. So now the one I have been waiting patiently for is now going to take several more weeks. I was told hopefully within 2 weeks but I will not know for sure until this next week.

Now with the one I have been watching I knew it was built in San Antonio and not sure where this other one will be or has been built. But one possibility is that I might get the one that just came in. Just have to wait and should hear something soon.

 

My truck has a few dings, her 4R has smashed lights, antenna, major damage on every panel.

This is the size three hours after the fact.

 

About the same size here. Broken windshield and my hood and passenger side looks like a fat chick's ass..

We got lucky....the storm pushed a little north as it got to us and we only had rain for about 10mins. Truck was in the garage anyway tho. Hail fucking blows....

 

Oh shit man, sorry to hear that. Was hopin it missed you guys

 

Oh shit! That’s brutal.

 

It’s just stuff. We aren’t worried about it. I’m concerned about people caught driving in it or had their homes wrecked. Nobody I know had windows broken, but that was an uneasy feeling.
