Update. Tried hard to drive slow for a tank but couldn't do it. Still managed 240 miles and still had a 1/4 tank left (just under). Fuel is not the issue....its the ease of passing everyone without the extra effort. The hot lanes here have allowed me to test out the boost at higher speeds and getting to 100 is way too easy. In the meantime, I am trying to keep it slow and safe. Trying!!

It seems to smooth out the more you drive but I am really enjoying the added HP!

I know this was aimed at someone else but I'll answer for me, I used a max 90 psi impact gun at 130 psi.

Shot it in with my Milwaukee 1/2 stubby on #3 setting and let it rip.

Coolant may have been over-serviced. Level should be 1/2” below the bottom of the filler neck when cold to give it room to expand. If the level is good, wipe everything down and see if this continues. You could also check the cap and reservoir for any dirt/damage that may be preventing a good seal. If they are damaged, give Magnuson a call. I bet they would send you replacement parts without a fuss.

I made it one step further - the instructions included with the kit on how to get the software were out of date. It turns out there's just a form on the website you fill out with the basic info of the s/c kit and Magnuson sends you the VF Tuner master key to activate the software. Now I'm running into a problem with the driver not working so I can't connect to the truck. Anyone seen this before and have a solution? The only thing I found searching on here was to install the drivers which I've done.

That cap doesn't look seated properly. Is it on straight/correct?

it is on correctly. It looked a little funky to me too! No cross threading and it looks like it is completely seated. I cleaned everything and will double check it again today after I drive it. I carefully cleaned the cap and the seal on the inside of the cap. I reinstalled the cap. I will keep an eye on it.

just wondering if anyone else has run into issues.

    Thanks,

    Dalton

The caps seem to not be sealed and the directions recommend:
"The coolant level should be within 1/2” from the top surface on the front of the tank. This will allow for coolant expansion."

Correct. I have zero regrets about it.
