Dude at the range next to me had one with a can and I was just eye fucking the shit out of it. When he shot it was just *pft pfft thhhfpt pfft* like a small bird farting.

He had to chew through hundreds of dollars in ammo but damn if it didn't look like hundreds of dollars of fun.

    hahaha, gigantic round.

got to sight in my father’s .375 H&H for his Africa trip years ago and I can safely say that I’m good on the big big boys.

chopped down the 10” diameter oak the target was tacked to in the 6 rounds it took to dial in.

haha: also gave my brother scope eye like Harry Potter, right between the eyes. Still has that big scar to this day.

The Cheytec guns are really heavy. Only meant to be shot from at rest. They're built to hit targets a long, long ways away. They actually don't hurt the shoulder too bad.

I've shot a cheytec .408 and I own a mare's leg .44 mag lever gun. Between the two, the cheytec is much more fun to shoot.

I've shot a few hundred rounds through a friend's Mosin and that thing kicks like a mule.

If you're talking about something bigger... nah, no thanks.

Sure it's newer and probably has tech to mitigate kick, but I bet it's still a mo'fucka.

Weight is the only mitigation. Physics does what physics does. You can either shoot a heavier rifle, or have enough padding on the buttstock of the light rifle to make it tolerable.

Always go for the heavier rifle lol. More weight in hand, less felt recoil. The old battle rifles were built so that soldiers could carry them over long distances and maybe get a few accurate shots off. Also the technology at the time was pretty bad, so they mostly ended up with heavy rifles that were over-powered for what they needed to be.

When I'm out shooting for fun, I always bring the heavy guns. When I'm elk hunting, I bring the light gun, but I know I only have to shoot it once.

Ok. $CTXR through $2 pre. $VET Didn’t let me down and came through earnings green. $AAPL killed it and the 6 $135 calls I bought yesterday should make me some $$$. Soooo that means $GME and $GTii drop hard today because I can’t have nice things ;)

Look into O lights for your tactical light. My brother has one and I went with a cheap Amazon light and the output is comparable but the mounting of the olight is far superior and IMO males it worth the money.

The thing I didn't think about when buying my cheap one was how long the cable would be from the momentary switch to the light. It's about as long as the gun when stretch out....ill never need that much and now I have it wrapped around the gun like a silly boy

Ya I hate myself for selling those $130 5/14 AAPL calls (@theesotericone had mentioned) to buy more GME lol. I fucking knew they were going to print and knew AAPL was and still is undervalued. Typically trusting my gut is the best play, but I got bored lol.

I'm actually stoked for the opening bell for the first time in a while. RIOT's gonna go red on me but it will be one of the few.
