Morning folks. Checking weather in the Ozarks and may take out of here soon for a waterfall. Wish me luck.
Be safe out there, almost hit a chicken in the road yesterday.

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

Spending my last morning with grandson before heading home. I like hearing him say," Grandpa Dan". Going to miss that.
Last night we went for ice cream. He's just like me and loves ice cream. This morning I said ice cream and he ran straight for the freezer and said ice cream.
Can't have ice cream for breakfast, at least when mom and dad are around.:D
Plan is that after we leave Minneapolis we'll head over to Mary's parents house and spend the night there and head home tomorrow.

    Have a nice day:thumbsup:

Good morning everybody. It’s Friday eve.

I got to play real cop this morning instead of just being an admin weenie. I rolled up on a 3 car accident just after it occurred, dust was still in the air and radiators were still blowing steam. Minor injuries in all 3 cars, middle car needed simple extrication to get the doors open. I still remember how to pop a door with my halligan tool. Got that patient stabilized and waited for FD and the patrol guys to arrive.

Two rookie patrol guys that showed up thought it was way cool that the investigations captain knew how to do this stuff. I explained to them I started so long ago we were public safety officers and were cross trained as firemen and EMTs to help cover the county for medical and fire calls. They seemed a little skeptical until I showed them how to work the pump panel on the fire truck for the wash down. Rookies... lol

Nice to get some hands on action I'm sure, and I know the folks in the accident appreciate you, or they had better.
Hope the rookies took notice and gotta clue as well.
    Good on ya' old man!
