Totally different motor so it will most definitely not work. Not that they aren’t capable of making a kit for 3rd gen that will work. But this one won’t

I dont think its an issue with the motor.
The pump will most likely bolt to the motor just fine. Its up to the installer to make sure the pulley is aligned. Hose fittings should be the same, if not its not hard to find some adapters at your local hydraulic hose shop. The difference will most likely be with mounting the resevoir.

    But its been said before,

Harrys kits will get you 90% there, its up to you to finish it.

I used a trail gear pump from a 3.4l on my 4.0, just needed to drill out the upper bolt hole to accept the stock bolt and i reused my old pulley.

I'm just waiting for mine to arrive now. Harry's work is outstanding. My springs have already shown up.

All right guys stupid question for you. On the upper arm gussets what direction are the washers supposed to face? I apparently was in a hurry this weekend taking it apart. And the way I figured them to fit the bolt seems a little short with the extra steel of the gussets.

Throw the washers in the trash... they are not needed with the double shear gussets

@81Trekker you have a photo of the 62 swap bumped out? Or does the setup limit it mechanically with the springs? Thought I saw somewhere the frame was bump.

Yes the axle bumps on the frame and can go up another 2” with a frame notch

Harry have you done the notch yet on any of the trucks with your kit? I remember you mentioning that “your” silver truck was working well and didn’t see the need. If one were to do the notch, what kind of reinforcement would be needed? Is that something JD could provide?

i plan to when I do mine. I purchased the dirt king frame box kit and bump stop mounts.

Harry did not recommend it cause he said you would have to tub the whole wheel well in the bed. But for me I don’t mind.

This is correct, in order to tuck the 35’s you will have to tub the wheel wells or ditch the bed. I will end up doing it to the silver truck when we put a real axle in it but I’m in no hurry as to do it right is going to require a lot of messing around with the plastic bed

Hey @81Trekker does the rear kit include bump mounts as well? I already have the cans. I can also probably make some. Otherwise it's just the leaf hangers, shackles, straps and brake lines, is that right? Anything else I would need? Lower shock mounts?

I'm going to continue running my bed cage (modifying it to work) with the 16" IBP's because that's what I have. I can revalve them if it's too soft or firm as well. Hopefully they pair well enough with the kit until I can do bypasses.

I may be wrong but in my invoice, no straps included, definitely not bump mounts. and the under the bed shock mounts are sold separately for anyone else wondering.

I recently found out about it from Kibby Racing(?) In a Banks Power video. Used it on my tailgate. Works magnificently.

Deaver springs, powdercoated front and rear hangers and shackles, U bolts, bushings, hardware, spring plates, brake lines.
Shock Relocates come with the cross bar. Confirmed separate.

I think that's everything on my invoice.
This is the only photo I have at work.

The WarFab kit will include tube steel for the new cross member, thicker material and larger studs for the frame horns (as well as a few pieces to strengthen that area), a plate to start your bumper off of (probably the plate you saw), a winch tray, and a new front skid that will tie in to your new cross member. We put a prototype on my 3rd gen and then beat the crap out of it so he could make some final adjustments. The winch now sits roughly 4" higher and 4" further back than the highest clearance "bolt on" bumpers currently available for Tacomas
