    The guys that were supposed to buy all of the 6000 bd feet backed out. It’s near Bland, Virginia. If anyone is interested, I can send you the link. $1 a bd foot. There are 10’ 2 x 8’s, 6” x 6” posts, and other sizes.

    5/4 BF is also figured out by multiplying the board length by 1.25. I bought a 12’ x 13.5” and a 12’ x 11.25” = 31 BF. $310

    Glad to read the stuff in this thread. Walnut is crazy expensive around here--always has been--though maple is pretty reasonable.

    I make a ton of pens and cutting boards, as well as "fine" furniture.

    I just got a Shark SD100 CNC machine...enjoying it, but man the learning curve on this thing is steeper than probably any other product I've bought in the last 20 years. Maybe as steep as my first DOS-based computer. Anybody who's into CNC, always glad to hear some tips and tricks.

    Will post some pics sometime when I get home and have access to my photos.
