Are you sure those aren't 16" rims not 17 as you say 285/70/17 Those look like 16" rims.

Sure enough. They are truly 17” rims with 285/70 tires. Those giant tires just make the rim look smaller.

Very minimal on the front mud flap prior to alignment and under perfect conditions (hard compression in a turn). I refuse to remove the mud flaps, so I did a little bit of heat gun remolding. Since the alignment (and remolding) I haven't noticed any rubbing, but then again it's mainly a pavement princess.

It is just a cheap Rough Country spacer lift up front (the type that goes above the coilover). And Icon 3 leaf add a leaf in the rear. I wanted to keep the stock shocks. Maybe at some point I will do a coilover setup in the front. But this setup seems to work and ride and all very well. I know it is often frowned upon. But in my experience so far, it works great. Take it as you will as I do not bash it off road. It is too new and expensive. But for what "I" need, it is perfect. I would have liked more lift in the back. As it is almost Bro like and seems nose high. I may do a Deaver spring set in the back at some point. I am trying to decide between a truck cap or box or even a rack in the back. And I want to decide that before I decide on what I need to change spring wise. For now the truck rides and drives amazing. No rubbing anywhere at all with the tires which measure over 33 inches (they did rub body mounts in front before lift). I am sure they probably will offroad flexed out. But I pushed the castor cams forward when I installed the lift which helped. It is a second vehicle for me so it doesn't get daily driven. I am happy with it.

Well you sound like me. I don’t want to take mine off-road like a lot the guys on here. I just like the look of bigger tires and lift. Yesterday I delivered a package that fedex mistakenly left on my porch. It was a rural road that turned into a muddy road. It was the worse road my truck had been on. I honestly could’ve driven my wife’s Camry on it. But it was quite muddy and now my truck is.

So the ride quality didn’t suffer that much with the lift? I would like about 2” up front and enough out back to make it level or a little high.

It actually rides amazing. I think the rear feel actually improved. The front is the same as nothing much changed there. If there is any change in ride or drive, it is mostly unnoticeable. I think the most noticeable change overall was the extra stopping distance. I equate that to the fairly heavier and larger wheel and tire combo. Power is not to me anyway, changed. I am basically very happy with the mods and especially the price to benefit ratio. When these shocks wear out, I will probably do un upgrade. But for me, there would be no benefit to spend the cash for a King or Elka or whatever setup. The stock shocks work very well. I do have a diff drop and carrier bearing drop and ECGS needle bearing to bushing parts all here for if I need them at some point. I have no vibes as of yet. So I am not putting them in until I feel I need them. All of it is fairly inexpensive stuff. So no biggie if I don't use them. The thing I am closest to wanting to change is to raise the rear height up. Measuring wise, it is basically level. But to me and my friends, it seems a little nose high. Many people like that look. I prefer the rear a nip high. I may try putting the stock overload spring in (instructions noted to remove it). That would give a little lift. I know some people have done that. I just like the ride so much now that i am hesitant to change anything.

Thanks for the honest review. Yeah if it ain’t broke don’t fix it goes a long ways. I read the negative comments about that type of lift and think I should avoid it but at the same time I want the ride height and the looks. I need to check with my mechanic and see about the bearing to bushing swap. If I install a lift I may go ahead and do that at the same time.
Considered the toyota lift but the best quote I got around here was $2k installed. Seems a bit high for shocks and grill. But now with the stop sale order it may be off the table anyway.
