So recently I have had an alignment and tires balanced but get a bit of a shake around 65 but then it goes away... Its not violent and doesnt feel unsafe, just curious what others have felt in their 2nd gen...

what tire pressures are you at? Are you sure you aren't just feeling the imperfections in the highway? On certain parts of my commute I will kind of feel a shake. Its almost like a very light hopping feeling. My truck did it when I bought it with 50k and it still does it with new tires, Bilstein 5100s and fresh alignment. I've had 2 new loaner 3rd gen Tacoma's and they do the same exact thing. Highways tend to have a small washboard effect that's really hard to see with the naked eye. Next time you are driving next to another car, look at their wheels. You can see the wheel moving up and down rapidly to conform to the surface of the highway. I feel like tons of us Tacoma owners think we have balancing issues but in reality the truck just rides like a truck.

Check center support bearing as well, those were the culprits of my vibrations for awhile, after having fresh tires and an alignment
