And in today’s episode of “don’t listen to him he’s an idiot”. H11 bulbs in the H16 housings. Melty melty!

guess I’ll run these until one burns out and then new fogs it is!

I might be able to get it done - I know someone who has a decent one. I do not have one though.

LED is fine. I put an H11 bulb in an H16 application. That’s a 55W bulb in a 19W housing. I melted the housing and it’s ac to actually to the point that I can’t remove the bulbs because they’re melted in. They work still for now so :notsure: but not sure how long they’ll last. Figure when one burns out it’ll be time for a whole new setup - I wanted to do LEDs legit when one burned out anyway so this doesn’t really change anything other than ... learn from my stupidity

LED will not draw as much power and won’t create that much heat at the bulb - you’ll have a heat sink or fan on the back that’ll handle the heat.

I know it's a bit ghetto, but look for "test plugs" for pvc pipe. 2" schedule 40 is roughly 2"ID. They can be painted with spray paint.

My brother in law does, on the SS but worth the drive.

Inground is a selling point, above ground not so much. Depends on the buyer as always..when I eventually move I'm getting a house with an inground.

Actually pools are not a selling point and make it harder to sell in this area. It was a wash in North Carolina…

extra insurance and upkeep is not at all attractive to most people vs 3-4 months of use.

Ask any realtor. However like you said, for a buyer who wants a pool…it’s gold!

No not yet. I'm waiting for Dan's @dc welding schedule to free up.

You going to wheel it or baby it after getting it fixed? And how's the suspension search going? I want to do another VT trip similar to last year ... @BadDNA . Or possibly NMW longish weekend trip. Or both.

:spy: The ford did very well - turned it into a company vehicle and sold it off at 180K miles. Figured a twin turbo charged engine with that many miles was due for a problem soon - other than replacing the O2 sensors, never once gave any headaches. Ideally I would of went back into a Ford and looked at the F-250 for a minute, but the sticker price and how far a dollar went was jarring compared to a Ram. Was able to get a 2019 2500 Big Horn for less than a more stripped down F-250. Haven't had any issues in 20K miles and my father has a Ram 3500 and is not easy on it - keeps on trucking along. I'm probably jinxing it as I type away, but have yet to come across anything that would steer me away.

Wonder what he would charge? I can stand a little travel for good work at a good price....

But, I think I am just going to order new, and wait.
Won't be here in time for the road trip, so, no real rush at this point.

I haven't done anything about the suspension yet because I was waiting on getting my frame fixed and making sure everything was ok with it. Another trip like that sounds fun!

For me in particular though it would be. I'm the minority of course..I wanted an inground but between the cost plus that I would have to relocate my septic, not happening.

Good question, though his shop does have a deal where all the local Toyota shop work comes to his place..
