Lift or exhaust?

I just got some new xd wheels and silent armor tires (will post pics soon!).
But now I am deciding whether to get a lift or an exhaust. I love the look of a lift but since I don't go off road too much I was just planning on getting a leveling kit. I also love the sound of an exhaust.

So what do u guys think? Exhaust or lift?!

 

Depends on how much money you want to spend.

 

5100's all around, its also cheaper than some exhaust systems.

 

I would like to spend as little as possible. I am a student so I don't have much money to blow. Probably no more than 500.

 

I would rock the lift first, and I did..... Thats just me though, I want more can do before more gogo.

 

I like the look of a lift (which I have) but it's gonna kill you on your MPG's brotha.

A lift does not do anything for gas mileage. Going up to a 265/75/16 tire, or a 265/70/17 tire won't really do much to the mpg. Unless you get some really extreme aggressive tread on it. But still won't be that bad. But in the end a LIFT does nothing to mpg

Do what I did. Put Bilstein 5100's on the front to level it off. If you like it, you can stop there and it doesn't cost a lot. If you want more lift, get the AAL for the back and jack up the 5100's. Personally I'm happy with the truck leveled.

Like some one else said. I did a lift first. Now am saving on exhaust. Lifting doesnt effect gas wheels ans tires size do. Cause of weight and bigger rotation. I went with 18" wheels with 35s on a six inch spent 4800 but you should be good with 3" Ive seen them they look nice. But yeah little costy. Long story short lift

 

get a solid exhaust in my opinion. I feel like a good exhaust note is more appealing then a cheaper lift.. just my .02

Nothing changes a truck as dramatic as a lift. I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

That sounds like a good idea to me. All I would need is a pair of 1500s for the front?

 

Depends on what you do with the truck? If you don't go Off Road then, I would say exhaust.
