Finally going to pull the trigger on these, under the presumption there is no fitment issue w/2nd gen.

Any suggestions on deals or best sources for purchase? I’m in Eastern NC and my nearest dealer hasn’t called back yet. Opportunity to find a better price perhaps.

have had good luck with this. Look up by part number. Each dealer varies in price for the same item so shop around, and some offer free shipping with a code so look into that as well.

I just ordered those wheels a week ago. I have the wheels(and installed) but the center caps are on a national backorder with an ETA that moved dates a couple times. I ended up spending a good amount of time looking for caps online and literally emailed 20 different dealers/suppliers and have 4 on the way from 3 different places.

Edit: looks like there are a few sets that include center caps on eBay.

Thanks, I’ll check out the site. Sometimes folks here come across specific deals like you’re talking about, and I was hoping someone had seen a major discount and/or shipping deal recently that I could jump on.

Good to know about the center caps, yeesh. The local dealer finally called me back yesterday evening and left a VM, and I’ll make sure to inquire about their availability as well.

best price i found after tax and shipping was at my local dealer, https://parts.sftoyota.com/. might be worth checking there to see what shipping runs. toyota is still running the free shipping (up to $200) using freeship at checkout. i also called my dealer ahead of time and asked if i could ship to their store and pick up directly to save on shipping time and costs (before i saw the freeship option). they were totally cool with it and 4 orders later they're still honoring it.

A local dealer in CA has them for $209. Free shipping up to $200, code "FREESHIP"
I think sales tax is 9.5%

Still appears to be the best price. Sucks that you can’t call them though. I’m wary to buy from anyone without a phone number.

    Good to know!

I’ve decided to stick with my Methods for now.

I’ve had my ‘20 TRD Pro wheels since March 30th, but the center caps have been on backorder since. Was supposed to get them April 21, then 26 or 28. I still don’t have them.

I ordered them at the same time as my wheels and they were delayed about a month. I ended up literally emailing 15-20 different online stores/dealers and had 3 shipped from one place and 1 shipped from another. I bought a couple extra(I read the caps tend to break easily) that I may be able to sell if you don’t get them soon.

    Thanks.

I almost ordered from other dealerships, but these are paid for.

Yes, I bet that’s part of backorder issue. Dealerships are having to replace all the broken caps (from factory installation.)

When I get my tires installed, I’m going to “beg” the service guys to over -lubricate when they mount the tires on the wheels, to try to prevent scratching, and I’ll put my center caps on when I get home, and my black lug nuts.

Just a tip when installing those center caps. I mounted all my center caps without breaking a single tab by using a hair dryer on the tabs. Makes the plastic soft so they flex without breaking so easily.

    Great tip!
I had done that to soften the tabs when I installed my TRD Pro grille.
