So I sent in a request to be upgraded to flash and log only license with all the requested info. I was sent back a link to the $79 upgrade. I then responded that I thought it was free. Received an email back saying there are 2 different option describing the difference between flash/log and editing options. Responded back copying my original email requesting flash/log option with all the requested info. Now radio silence. I understand why other people get so frustrated with the process.

 

there is a free option, and an upgrade option.

It may be a little frustrating at the moment, we literally have 1000+ people requesting to update so we are just sending automated responses.



And once again, will post this again, you will get emailed and notified when it is ready for release. It is NOT ready for release yet so for all the people emailing me angry they haven't got updated yet it's not even ready. We are emailing / responding ahead of the release.

 

You know that the first page of this thread says that flash kit users must upgrade, which is why folks are emailing you and expecting to be able to upgrade, right?

I'm also frustrated because I haven't been able to flash anything in weeks and am currently stuck on stock, and neither the system ID change ticket (req 25588) nor the "upgrade, because this page told me I need to do that" ticket (req 26335) seems to be going anywhere.

 

If you cannot flash because of a system ID no longer working there is nothing we can do with that. It was done by a previous developer and we no longer provide reg keys or even have the ability to provide reg keys.

Yes the first page says this, and we are working on rolling the update out.

But like I have posted, there are thousands of people to update. We are trying to get information from people ahead of the release, to make things smoother.
Because we know from history that whenever we do a big release like this, no matter how clear we try to provide info, instructions, etc, it will be a swarm of mass confusion, and I don't want that to take weeks to weed through.
