Charvonia Design Bed Tie-Down Anchors

Hey guys, just wanted to share a new product I am manufacturing for our trucks. I’ve been a product designer in the Aftermarket and in Motorsports for the past 15 years. I’ve sold a bunch of these to Tundra owners, and they fit Tacoma’s too. These have been installed on 1st and 3rd gen Tacos, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t fit a 2nd gen too. Here’s all the info:

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The torque spec has been decreased to 20 lb/ft. If you purchased Anchors that are engraved with the 25 lb/ft specification, please note this has been superseded.










And why would you want these fancy new Tie-Downs?? Well this is what mine looked like, and eventually yours probably will too.

Besides looking way better than stock, my Tie-Downs also add functionality with more ways to attach ratchet straps, and a center slot that does a much better job retaining the hook so it doesn’t fall out before you tighten the ratchet strap, something that used to drive me nuts!

So will not fit a Gen2 2010? If so I’d be ordering a pair.

 

Do these only replace stock or could they be installed mid-bed?

 

Can you let me know if you have the stock anchors at the front of your bed? They would be on the side walls at the front.

 

They do replace stock but I had several people drill holes to install them wherever they wanted. You just use a fender washer and nut.

 

Ha! Guess I am wrong. Just remember seeing these in a buddies truck so assumed I had as well. Bummer they look beautiful.

They do fit 1st gens, I should make that more clear in the bullet points. It’s the 2nd gen that seems to be missing the holes. As long as you have the stock U-shaped anchors these will fit.
