Season two trailer just dropped! Love that show

 

Just finished up Snowpiercer Season 2, really good show so far

 

Just watched Unhinged on prime. Is ok. Kind of reminds me of Falling Down with Michael Douglass.


Lots of car chase scenes and I had a Volvo station wagon in college so that was fun. Mine was a 740 turbo though with a 5-speed manual. It definitely was faster than what showed in the movie. Fun car.

 

I started working my way through Doom Patrol. It has its hamfisted cheese moments - and Brendan Fraiser seems to say "what the fuck" every third line - but overall its been a fun watch.

I really enjoyed that one, it was surprisingly well done. I really liked how the CGI fight scenes occasionally played homage to the old foam-rubber suit movies. I had to go back and watch Skull Island and King of the Monsters after that.

 

I thought Godzilla vs. Kong was entertaining but still a flop in my eyes. I would rather watch any of the original versions over any modern day Godzilla. I never liked any of the Kong movies so that one will never appeal to me.

 

Yeah, a let down for me too. My lady fell asleep half way through

 

Just watched the first episode of star gate SG1

Special effects are super dated but I’m a sucker for sci-fi and I’ve been putting this one off for... 25 years. Jeez.

 

Just watched on Netflix: There Will Be Blood

I watched it when it first came out and remember being impressed and it’s still great. Very Steinbeck-y if that’s a genre.

 

Started season 3 of Westworld, was kind of afraid to since it's been over a year since I finished season 2...and I think I was starting to get pretty lost even then lol. So far so good though.

 

It was ok I thought, Bitch's forehead was looking pretty big.

 

Aaron Paul does have a pretty big noggin

 

Watched Nomadland. I was good until the bucket scene. I guess America the ugly and we don't poop where we sleep was the message, not sure. I know smellovision is still in the future, but I could actually smell inside that van..........oh my wife had farted.

 

Something stupid my Wife wanted to watch, so jumped on TW.

 

Arrested Development on Netflix ...again

 

Wife and I are enjoying The Nevers on HBO. They tick a lot of genre boxes and still manage to make a great show.
