Blown shock? Carried heavy load x 6 hours, now I’m learning in rear..

    I noticed I’m sitting lower on left rear, also a little bit of carry after bumps on highway?

    Just a reminder, OEM springs are pretty crappy, so they will sag over time anyway. Mine for example, I only had a diamondback cover for the most part, started sagging pretty bad, but now that I have that and a bed rack, super saggy (inverted) all the time, riding just about 1" - 1.5" above the bump stops at all times with nothing else in the bed.

    Also, since all the stock weight is on the driver side (gas tank, battery, driver) there will be some lean to the left. If you have a full tank of gas, that might account for the lower left rear.

    I wish the Tacoma had a better payload rating. These trucks squat really bad with barely anything in the bed.

    Leaf springs are pretty flat. Visiting family in NC, thinking I should get this checked before the long haul back north?

    Nothing here seems out of the ordinary. Take a peek under the truck, if there's nothing obviously busted and there are no strange noises I wouldn't worry about it. Just take it easy with that much of a load in the back, drive carefully, don't drive too fast and try to slow for bumps whenever possible.
    1. That looks like an appropriate amount of sag for that much weight (especially since it's sitting so far back, it would be better if you could get more weight forward).
    2. Stock leaf springs look almost flat even without any load in the back.
    3. Not sure what you meant when you said "carry" after you hit bumps. But when loaded, hitting bumps (especially at higher speeds) it will not be a smooth ride. You'll be hitting your bump stops very easily and they're a bit harsh.
    4. It's normal to be lower on the left side since the gas tank is on that side. Commonly referred to as "Taco Lean". We all deal with it, some correct it with suspension mods, others don't bother. Its not anything you should be concerned about.
