So is the AFE radiator the same size as stock? I asked afe about the fan shroud but they gave me a generic 'We do not show any fitment notes concerning the factory fan shroud..'

I bought an eBay aluminum radiator for my last Toyota truck that leaked out of the box. The fit was rough, manual transmission so no cooling lines.
If there is an aluminum radiator that significantly lowers coolant temp and bolts in with fan shroud and trans cooling lines without crowbar or hammer, I'd be interested. For the prices I've seen, it had better do something.

If you truck isn’t running hot then don’t worry about upgrading your radiator. You aren’t going to lower your coolant temp by upgrading, you would be better off with a colder thermostat but that causes other issues.

Does this csf keep coolant cooler than stock? Yes, in my case atleast but my engine runs a lot hotter w/ the supercharger and other mods I have done. How ever I think the electric fan I bought from @Deo taco did way more for cooling than the radiator.

I’m running the CSF and 170* thermo from URD. Fitment was good with the shroud. Temps are a little cooler than stock

Just remember, the primary goal isn't to "run cooler", but to have more efficient thermal regulation when the system is really taxed. Summer is right around the corner. Those that have recorded how hot their trucks used to get in high heat scenarios, should have a good reference point for how well the system abates heat, with the new rad, in those similar scenarios.

E-Fans really help as well. When properly controlled.

That is normal, without taping into the A/C circuit. This may help. You can thank AL later. ;)

Sadly the linden controller doesn’t have an ac tap. The only option you have is forcing the fan to 100% which is not ideal. I have been looking for another controller that can have ac inputs to increase fan speed.

    Enter autocoolguy fan controller. https://www.autocoolguy.com/

They recently came out with a high freq controller that I plan to replace my first one with. I’ll have the first one available here shortly if anyone wants to give it a whirl.

Was there a part number for the fan with that kit? Seems worth piecing my own version together now that we know the drawbacks of the kit.
