tires make the most profound difference early on if you are still on the tires that come on the trucks from the factory. If you are going to spend money somewhere early on, Id look into tires.

Most of the Ozarks have a hard base...avoid red clay at all times... especially on up hill grades.

    This was an awesome trip

Today I went and picked up my 2nd Gen 4Runner. I’ve decided I’m going to sell it

This one just requires love, and lots and lots of gas. I've done everything else.

It also requires insurance, registration, and a place to store it. I won’t condemn that vehicle to a life of living in a cow pasture like I did this 4runner

I personally have never seen those tires on a vehicle from the factory so I would assume they are not stock but I have also never seen "RBP" tires so there's that too haha. The tread looks decent for an off road tire but I have no idea of the quality of make/rubber, load range, ply, etc. Only way to find out is to get out there!

Looks like the recent weather left us with a couple of road closures in the ONF.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
It's an easy transition. The main thing is to have tools and jack for doing your own work.

This. Probably mainly going to need a taller jack and taller jack stands

We decided to risk the rain on Saturday and were rewarded with a perfect peaceful night of camping. First time staying at this spot on Mineral Hill road but have stopped at it a few times before, it's usually kinda trashy but has a great view of Shores Lake. Either someone spent some quality time cleaning it up or the recent heavy rain washed the trash away because it was in surprisingly clean condition. There was a little drizzle overnight but we had camp broken down and were on the road before the real rain rolled in. Good times.

That's awesome! I'm the Stihl dealer in HS. We were going to attend as a vendor but Husqvarna wouldn't let us, lol.
