I would pick it up as then you would need a winch! But it would be useful if you ever had to use your hi lift as a winch or as a general strap for whatever. You can never have too many straps, or have too much of a variety of lengths. Also good if you wheel with people who have winches and they needed one or something.

I won a synthetic winch line in a raffle once. Made me have to buy a winch.

I'd like to get a nice shiny new line and respool mine.

I would like to use mine for things other than pulling trees in the direction I want them to fall.

in other news I am getting better with the chainsaw.

You planning on wheeling that GX?

Couldn't get mine to crank the other day. I was mildly pissed. Even got that fancy ass Husqvarna pre-mix in it for the extended warranty. That got me looking at battery electric saws, but still on the fence there.

The plan has always been to wheel it. Sadly it just takes trips to the grocery store right now.

My husky 435 has never given me issues. Starts right up with 4-6 pulls and then once it’s warm only takes 1 pull. That’s with crap gas(10% ethanol) mixed 50:1

So you're saying I need to treat my saw with worse gas so it will act better? I mean, I'm down to try it!

Is that trail local? I haven't seen that spot before.

Checked out Beer and Gears today. Was pretty cool! Looks like there is a Bronco Event tomorrow that also looks interesting. Has anyone gone or know what I’m talking about?

    Hey all,

South Charlotte area just saying hey. 1st Tacoma, had is since November. 2021 SR5 with the Predator package. Has 900 miles.

I just took off the TRD Pro wheels and put on new rims and 285’s. I had originally had a basic spacer lift on the truck since it was a lease and only being drive on roads about 100 miles a month. I have decided I like it so much I am buying it and have been modifying it.

My question is, can anyone recommend a good shop to do my suspension for a real lift set up? I have been reading thru this thread, but it is fairly lengthy and cannot find one. I am in the auto field so I am familiar with most shops in the Charlotte area.

    Thanks.

DIY. It’s not that difficult with basic tools.

I’ve got a garage and a fairly decent size driveway. No one ever wants to come over and work on their shit except @FadedComa
