Who do you have your insurance with? I ask because every accident we've been in when the other guy was at fault, I just hand it to USAA and they handle everything with the other guys insurance. It's like having a lawyer on retainer for car accidents; and they know the business and exactly what the other insurance should do. Absolutely love USAA, they've always taken excellent care of us for 24 yrs now.

Kristi has the ability to ask me questions specifically about my "trigger" issues/topics. Then she gets upset with my rant and gives me the eye roll and "sorry I asked." Sometimes I think she knows me better than I know myself...other times I don't think she knows me at all. It'll be 37 yrs married this Oct 2nd ... might take another 37 to figure that one out completely...I'll send a msg from the hereafter.;)

Be safe, healthy, and most importantly happy everyone. :)

    Respect :oldglory:
    Rob

I have USAA as well Rob. Great company. I've had them for 11 years now with no issues. As a rule I don't like to bring them into it unless the other persons insurance jerks me around. So far they person handling her claim has been in contact with me several times which is a plus. I already told him where I was going to have it repaired and he said no problem  so we'll see. As an advertisement for USAA (is this a ban-nable statement), every time an insurance agent tries to sell me insurance and I tell them I have USAA, they say they can beat their price(what they don't tell you is it's only for 6 months on auto and then it goes up) but not on home owners.
Congratulations on 37 years coming up in October. We will be having our 52nd on September 11th even though we never celebrate it on that day because of the event of that day. When you have a good life, thank your wife. Like I told mine, "Our life has been like riding a roller coaster with the ups, downs and curves but I wouldn't have enjoyed it without her next to me".
    Enjoy your day Rob.

The new codes here are to have a filter at the outlet to the drain field in the tank. The filter is a tube with a plastic insert that can be pulled out and hosed off periodically, it is a barrier for particles getting into the drain field.

This is the filter that is inserted that I have now:

    Good morning all,

Happy Birthday Colonel, hope you have a great day.

Spent the day fixing a wire connection on the quad for the three-point-hitch, it wouldn't raise or lower, had to pull off all the cowling to trace the wire connections. What a pain in the back-side. Got it fixed and ready to grade the drive today with the box-scrape and then change over to the blade to finish grading the septic sections that were dug up and built up for the new DBox. Rain/snow Sunday - got to jump on this stuff wile the gettin is good...

Have a great day everyone, be safe

We've been with USAA since 1975 - they insure our house, our vehicles and our "rental" property - the farm house on our property where Lynn's mom lives. Always great service.

Nice looking set up and dinner.

Sorry about the truck Ken. Mistakes happen when driving, I try not to make any but they do happen.

    Happy Birthday Mark.

Windy today. Defrosted the freezer in the garage today and went through the garage freezer and the kitchen freezer tossing stuff that looked bad or I was not going to eat. Also found about 10 freezer packs, tossed 8 of them. Also had two bags of ice taking up space. Used the ice to keep the meats frozen during the cleaning. Another job off the to do list.

    Afternoon all:
Looking like it's a for sure stay at home night unless something changes by midnight. Walleye season opens tonight and the wind is howling, no way would it be possible to even begin trolling for them along the shoreline. Turkey also opens tomorrow, not overly enthused about the first day because guys will be all over the place, best to hunt during the week.
Was just looking at Federal custom turkey TSS shotgun shells , $153.99 for a box of 10 10 Ga., and $139.99 for a box of 10 12Ga. 3" mag., I had read that TSS was expensive, but :annoyed:!
I didn't order any, figure I just need to get the turkeys a little bit closer and my el cheapo, which I thought were expensive, Winchester long beard XR's will do the job as well as a few other turkey loads that I have.

That is some expensive shot gun shells Carl. Have you seen any Remingtons out there yet. They are running 24/7 to get more out to the outdoorsmen. If ammo keeps getting more expensive, I'm going back to my sling shot. Rocks are cheaper:D.

    Evening all:
Haven't really been looking for any ammo Ken, I have LOTS of loaded ammo and the brass and all the components for reloading all the calibers that I have, goes back to the "I have it if I need it"! :)
I got an e mail from Reeds sporting goods and just happened to stumble onto those shotgun shells, thought Holy Crap! I just gave the neighbor 2 25 count boxes of 20 Ga. Hi brass that had a $3.89 price tag on them, they would kill a turkey just as fast as those expensive shells, just needs to be a little closer!

 Funny you mentioned a slingshot, I was just thinking about that a couple days ago, between the flintlock, the crossbow, and a slingshot I would be good to go!

Hey... Soon to be 65 here, I ride a Geezer Glide and my 16 year old grandson says I drive an Old Man truck because I have a shell. I'm all about convenience and comfort!

Good morning everyone!!! Had a great birthday - Thanks for all the well-wishes!

We planted two trees, turned over a bunch of sod along our walkway for Lynn to plant flowers in the morning after going our for mulch compost and garden soil. Even picked up a new cordless drill to use when I start demo on the greenhouse next week.

Lynn surprised me with this for my birthday. Had some of it last night to celebrate turning 66.

Enjoy the day and the weekend. Stay safe, dry and warm!!!
