OV Tune in SoCal

I currently have a stock 2019 Offroad. I was curious about the OV Tune and if it's something that would benefit me now or if it's better to wait till after I do my wheels, tires, suspension, etc. I won't get there for a while so I was wondering if it's something I can do now to help with the typical gear hunting that our Tacomas do. I was also hearing about a factory re-tune that also helps fix that. Also, does anyone have recommendations on a place in SoCal, especially in the OC/LA area? Thanks!
