Alarm set for 6:00, I woke up at 5:41. I can't remember the last time I was up before the alarm went off.

Probably all excited about my butt.

Regarding the poll - I have 2 brothers (one has died) and 3 sisters but since my parents and I moved up here from Georgia when I was seven, they feel more like cousins since I only saw them every couple of years when we went to visit.

I think my brother is living in Fargo right now but I haven't seen him in about 5 years. Not real family oriented, huh?

No, they can’t. It is a huge difference in taste though. Just like with eggs, farm raised are much better than store bought.

Cows, chickens, eggs, vegetables, they all taste better straight off the farm. I think our local farmers market opens today or next weekend, looking forward to it!

I'm definitely a city boy. I don't think I've ever had farm fresh anything.

We had a few very similar incidents with Addee the past few days. It’s crushing, but they gotta learn.

I also think deer is better than beef. I do not like marbled/fatty meat!

Our farmers markets around here have become a joke. Most produce is grown in hot houses and most vendors are selling pre packaged goods. Just not the same.

Ours is a mix, but there’s a few vendors I always go to since I know the farms they come from.

Time to attempt to fix an oil leak around the governor shaft, not looking forward to this. I’ve got a new seal plus a tube of RTV

I’m not sure what your plan of attack is, but you’ll want to be real careful pulling that arm off, I’d you don’t get that internal part on the shaft in the right spot your governor will be off and you’ll have a new oil leak from the hole where the connecting rod exits the block.

That's a proper way of putting that... nobody likes bigger oil leaks... or crank windows.

My buddy back in NM just sent me this picture. It's his first turkey and first time hunting.

    123_1.jpg

For me, I only went turkey hunting once in spring of 2016 before I moved out of NM. My parents see turkeys at their place in TN, so I may try there sometime.

Regarding the poll, I have 2 brothers. I'm the middle, and they're both in TX.

Hey buddy, sometimes doing the right thing isn't easy. Especially when it comes to kids/family, where emotions are a huge factor. It's hard to see it now, but it will pay dividends in the future, when he makes you proud of his own decisions.
