    Yep. I've applied to a few places but haven't found another job yet. I applied the other day to the University of South Carolina in Columbia for an electrical helper position so hopefully I get the job for that because they were wanting electrical experience and May 14th will be 3 years I've been working

    hopefully you find something soon. Working for cash is nice, but also sucks not having insurance. Been there, done that.

    Yeah. I did it before though used to drive from Lancaster to fort Mill everyday 48 minutes one way without traffic

    What's happening right now is there's only two jobs going on a founders and union being built and a apartment complex in Charlotte being worked on. And so there is not enough work to bring back me and 10 other helpers. They have some jobs that are supposed to be starting this summer but have not started yet and as well they got the job for maintenance on the school district which is contracted to start today. They've already ordered a badge and uniform for me to go work on those jobs because I'm one of the few people in the company that know how to do commercial work

    there is absolutely no shortage of commercial construction going on right now. If they can’t find enough work to sustain employees, I’d honestly not want to work for that company. I can look out of my office window and see no less than 6 construction sites around my work. All of them apartments or office buildings.

    or they are giving you the run around because they won’t want you back. That’s probably what I’d lean to what is actually happening.

    Either way, im sure you’ll land on your feet soon :thumbsup:

    Well as well a lot of the jobs that we were supposed to be having going on right now the contractor for that job pushed them back because they were wanting to get all the tenants vaccinated for coffee before we started working

    And most of our commercial jobs are through perception builders and they mainly do jobs here in Lancaster

    I can't remember if I applied to them before or not. But all I have is electrical experience I don't have any maintenance and a few companies I applied to already told me no because I didn't have maintenance experience
