Headed home from mountain biking wit my son the other night, I had an evening encounter with a suicidal deer. I was coming around a bend in the road with no shoulders on a 2 lane highway and I was able to avoid 2 of the 3. Considering the deer all but blew up on impact, the Tacoma fared pretty well. I mentioned getting both sides of my truck painted in this pattern and my wife called me a redneck. LOL

Luckily, damage looks to be limited to the bumper, grill, fender and alignment. All in all, it's hard to complain.

Good start to a zombie themed truck. Sorry about your ride, hopefully you get it fixed up quickly.

You know, I didn't even go back to check. The Sheriff Deputy offered me a ticket for it. However, it was a pretty nasty stretch of road to stop and salvage the carcass. It would be too dangerous without some flares marking both sides of the bend in the road. And, that is not even considering that I am pretty sure that the Predator bars disembowelled the thing. The leading edges of the steps and various parts of my bed had what looked to be the stomach contents of the deer stuck to them.

Like I always tell my kids, it's a piece of metal than can be repaired. We were safe and that leaves little to really get upset about.

Looks like an easy fix-up, still sux - I got no use for fking Deer... they're stupid
and do nothing for nobody - had an encounter once where I actually was able to
stop but the stupid thing trotted right into my ( very old ) car. Always on the lookout
when riding a motorcycle for sure.

Good attitude and humor ... the world needs more of that - hopefully it'll be fixed up soon.

Aftermarket bumper time. I did the same thing then hit one a year later with the SSO on. First one replaced the bumper. Second one we wiped it off.
