Yep. Dissimilar metals will corrode together over time. I had the same issue with a past Tacoma. Had to whack the crap out of the aluminum wheel with a rubber mallet to get it to break from the brake drum. It's helpful to rotate tires every 5K or so to prevent that.

 

In 6 days when new I put close to 1,000 miles on it. Enjoy it! because if not when you sell it the second owner sure will.

 

where can we find those orange bed bars? I have not seen those around

 

I’m putting it to work today. Spring cleanup day at my Son’s house. Gutters cleaned, landscaping, tree/bushes trimmed & pressure washing. You can actually pack a lot stuff in this short bed.

 

Added smoked sequential turn signals I got off Amazon. Super easy install maybe 10 minutes per signal.

Anyone tapped into the bed light source @ the tail lights to add more (LED) lights in the bed?

Have a cap that I want to put lights on the ceiling & would be easier to just tap what is already there. Obviously considerations for total amps will be made but not sure what the load rating is for that circuit. Anyone know that #?

Long term: I'm likely to add the OEM bed lights on the factory circuit and also run a hot wire so side & back glass doors are on pressure switches so that any of the three being opened will complete the circuit.

I picked up the Thule Podiums (bases) and key sets on eBay (that way ONE key for all 4 bases, and the two bike rack locks/ also Thule) he sold them in 2/4/6/8 sets, easy to work with and ship), the bars were trailer, but I also saw an earlier post here someone foundRhino rack stuff on Walmart.com.

 

If you have an extra 4pin off the tow harness you can tap that, aux has to be on though.

Most LED lights are less than .1A up to .3A, just a matter of how many lumens you want.

 

Finally got muh lift/ECGS bushing installed. Wheels on back order. 33s going on when the wheels arrive.

 

Seat Jackers for front and rear arrived today. Easy and fast install. Love the new seating position. Feels like the seat in my Wrangler now.

 

Tell me more, I've got the bike mounts "left over, Would like to pick up some Taco feet and rails.

I did a search string "Thule Podium Ebay" but couldn't tell which vendor.. Can you advise?

Had some damage on my tailgate.. required me to get some paint work, a small dent fixed, and a new tailgate handle. I work in a small garage that used to do bodywork done by my grandfather..(family business) he fixed it, did a emblem delete, and even painted my letters black..

 

I got the keys and Podiums from same seller. Still trying to find where I got the Rack Feet (possibly etrailer with the bars).

Yup. First flat at about 2K of ownership on my new used '16 had to beat it off using a rubber sledge. Ran on the spare for a couple of thousand until I found a replacement KO, and had the the tire place rotate the tires so I didn't have to do that again. Good argument for rotating them with each oil change.
