I'm doing chores to get them out of the way before I hit the Appalachian Trail.
    Mrs Gritto insists.
And going through all my gear

I figure 2-3 weeks...maybe I can make it to Delaware Water Gap across the river from Jersey.
This will be my test run to see if my feet are gonna survive attempting the whole thing in the same year.
There's a Greyhound station half a mile from The Trail in Stroudsburg.
I'll come home and close on the condo, then I'm off again as soon as Mrs Gritto will let me.
Bus back to Stroudsburg, then away I go headed for Maine.

If I make it to Mount Katahdin, I'll rent a car or take the bus home.
Then head south for Springer Mountain in Georgia.

This is an adventure I've always wanted to do.

My key fob/alarm thingy stopped working today. Its been intermittent for a few months now. I take the damn thing a part thinking the battery is dead. I run into this.... wtf.... how do I get inside that little thing?
Quick YouTube search gives me the answer:bananadance:
But, before I go replacing the battery in this thing, let's go test it. Go outside and start pushing the little touch keys and everything works fine.o_O:annoyed:
Fuck, its the buttons on the key, they aren't making good contact when pushed.:confused::confused:

I start thinking long term at this point, I can add a dab of silicone to each button contact..... but could screw everything up.
Next thought... I'll cut a paper towel down (1 layer) and place it between the buttons and the device. BOOM! works like a charm again.:hattip:

They had some hack issues last week IIRC. BabySister warned us in 50s thread and said to change passwords. :notsure:
