Brought the camper home from winter storage today. First time using the new Redarc brake controller. Worked great.

Installed Universal Emergency brake line brackets by @ryan20021982 . Install was easy, they’re simple, functional, and adjustable so they’ll work on just about any leaf pack. Hit him up for a set!

We have one on our 4Runner and will have one on the Tacoma once it arrives. I like that the only part seen is the dial and everything else is hidden. That was the only way my wife was ok with me putting it on the 4Runner.

 

Well I did my first oil change on the new '21. Compared to my '08, what a project!

 

Got the ARB recovery point “mounted”. I swear ARB put little to no thought into selecting hardware for this UNIT. They include a stupid fucking nut on a stick and mine snapped before I could get the front frame bolt on. I’ll have to order replacement when I get the new ARB summit for the 2019+ models. Also snapped three clips for the front bumper. Probably did more harm than good installing this 18lb hunk of goodness. I hope you guys can sense my frustration.

 

If only they had a high bull bar option looks great though!

 

Installed Fox 2.0 coilovers, Icon ALL, Camburg upper control arms, plus 285 75 16 Toyo Open country. Still need an alignment but first I want to see if I can raise the front a little more.

 

C4 has one with a high bullbar.

I know and I drool over it constantly. I just really am struggling to think of dropping 1500+ on a bumper. It’s so gorgeous though.

Just gonna ask a stupid fucking question. Should I try to stuff 35s with this lift? Or Is that asking for trouble?

Yes on the rim seizing. Our trucks are hubcentric hence the tight fit. The steel hub will rust and seize on the rim. I take all of my rims off when the cars are new and put a thin coat of anti-seize around the hub. I do it with all my cars. Pop them off, wire wheel all the rust off and you will be good to go.
