But I'll look into them again. I live in the edge of Kershaw town so I'm like 30-40 minutes from there

Worth a shot. If they want work bad enough and they are willing to do OTJT, IMO it is easier to teach someone maintenance than it is to teach electrical.

If you can half ass turn a wrench you can do maintenance. Sell yourself, highlight what you can do, hobbies that could cross into what you're applying for.

Totally different environment... Our (my former) MED guys are top notch. Downtime is the ultimate enemy, quality is the ultimate assurance. I worked with those guys for over a decade, and if something is wrong, everyone is at fault.

Might fill a pan with water. It’s for tomorrow since I couldn’t get the tenderloins on the smoker today!

I'm poor and I don't have the money to buy a smoker type grill so I just have a standard square one from home Depot. My neighbor had some sweet gum trees that fell down during winter so I cut some wood off of it earlier and had it burning for a few hours to get some hot coals in the grill. Then I had some oak that I chopped up some and had it soaking in water. Wrapped up my pork and tinfoil and added some more marinade in it threw it on the grill with the hot coals and wet oak and just let it set

I marinate with a barbecue and a applewood dry rub for about an hour and then pour it in two cans of Budweiser and let it set for about 15 hours
