I just installed all new you joints and a new center carrier bearing that didn’t even need to be replaced I talked it down to 134 pounds like it says to. When I took it for a test drive going no faster than 40 mph I went to check the center bearing carrier in my driveshaft was really hot and it almost look like the bearing wasn’t spinning in the driveshaft itself was spinning inside the rubber bushing I installed it at a shop with mechanics didn’t put it on in reverse didn’t over torque it I have Center carrier bearing spacers and shims under my axle to adjust the angle and still had an issue. Has this ever happened does anyone know what’s wrong thank you

Is the carrier bearing in the correct spot front-to-back? aka install the CB bolts loosely, then get the 8 flange bolts done, then torque the CB bolts. The CB is slotted for a reason.

The carrier bearing has a front and a back IIRC did you install it backwards?

Did you nick or ding the dust/grease deflector on the shaft and is it contacting the bearing?
