    Hi All,

Just earlier this week I got my prinsu in the mail and mounted a brand new 40" baja onx6. It has probably 2-3hours of use, I was super impressed by the distance of light and excited!

But today I went out and noticed that all 4 (2 amber and 2 white) nodes (portions) of the light bar have condensation behind the lens. In addition to that one of the white nodes is dead/non lit. I'm pretty shocked to see a Baja product acting like this, wondering if not having dual harnesses could be an under amperage issue in regards to the 1/4 portion of the bar not working but the condensation has me worried! Pics attached

you can try hooking it directly up to the battery and see. if it still does that contact support at BD and they will fix it.

Curious, have you installed one of these? It's the dual control model so it has seperate line voltage inputs for white vs amber, but 12GA w/ a 30A fuse should be more than enough considering max draw is 26A. So curious if you/others have been using dual harnesses or doing the same as me, splitting off one. The condensation behind lens is abnormal right?

Spoke to baja, since I posted pics the lenses are completely fogged up gonna take it apart and see if I can salvage it... disappointing to see in a 1800$ lightbar. Anyone else had this happen?

open lenses, throw light on full brightness for 5min inside and let it heat the water out. Seeing as one of 4 bars has already died I'm not sure it'll work but gonna try and hope that one comes back to life.

im sure they will repair or replace it but with the wait times on them right now id prob give it a go and see. check the lens is sealed well. the gasket under the lens could have been mad or off a bit.

will report back tmrw, so long as that 4th bar comes back I think it can be fixed. Should I throw silicone around the gasket/edges?

you shouldn't need to. if anything I would replace the rubber gasket behind the lense. if it does this then they should replace it. they have replaced less for other folks I know.

I absolutely would not do this. The best course of action would really be to send this light back for revaluation and repair. If it does not look like a pinched o-ring gasket, then there is likely something wrong with the power cord or another point of intrusion. Putting silicone arbitrarily onto the gasket is just going to make a mess and likely not solve the issue.

I just spoke to our retail sales manager, Jeff who you have already spoken with. It sounds like you are hesitant to send the bar in. Is there a reason why? Our repairs team typically turns repairs around in 1 or 2 business days, so there shouldn't be much delay. I am happy to cover the cost of shipping if that will help get this bar back and properly repaired.
