Be interested to know as well. I have a camper about the same weight and still debating whether to go with SL or jump up to LT or not. Wish they had a D tire or something in between, that might be a bit of a middle ground.

@Discount Tire I spoke to one of the associate's at my local America's Tire and they said running/ towing in SL would be fine as long as you max out the PSI on the rear when towing...he said if you leave it at 32psi then it'll compress too much and appear flat due to the weaker side walls...while it's doable, he said he would recommend a C load or E load for longevity/ sidewall strength if towing large packages

Thank you for your inquiry - PM on the way.

Yes, very much so, I apologize we had not addressed your question. The Standard load tire is what came on it from the factory and the tires are rated to hold the maximum safe towing and bed capacity of the truck. However to piggyback on what the store said, if it is a consistent thing where you are having heavy trailers or loading the bed of the truck up, than there would be some benefits to having a heavier tire construction.

We hare happy to assist further, pm on the way.

Unfortunately we do not have Discount codes, rather than marking up our tires and then offering troublesome discount codes we try and put our best price available to everyone on our webpage. Although even still sometimes our competitors will have a lower price this is where our Low price guarantee comes from.

The Flash sale that was running has unfortunately ended however we would love to earn your business. PM on the way

    Just picked up my 265/75r16 at3’s 116t (p rated).
Initial impression is that they look great but feel a little rougher.

I haven't done the Alpine Loop, so I can't speak to it, but for the other trails, SL tire is totally fine for use. Airing down to the low-mid 20s will greatly reduce the chance of tire punctures, but don't air down so much (say below 20 psi) that you run the risk of a pinch flat.

I have noticed that at the same psi, the toyos do feel stiffer than the stock GYs. Online calculator does say to run these at 28 psi vs 30 psi for stock tires to achieve the same load rating. Not sure if that means anything. I have been running them about 2 psi lower than stock GYs, to get the same approx. feel. The sidewalls do pooch a bit more than the stock tires though, but I suppose that stands to be expected with the higher sidewall profile.

The DOT side has a more aggressive looking sidewall. It will be easy to tell the difference when you look at them.

Yeah when you look at the tires the dot side is more aggressive. There are side siphons and the letters are more prominent

It's different depending if you have the SL or LT tires though too, isn't it?

Do you have a side shot ? Interested to see how a 3”/2” lift looks w/ the LT 265/75/16’s. Truck looks amazing.
