I’ve been wanting to make something like this using the roof from a golf cart. The fan is a neat idea!

That’s slick. Is there a rheostat or something to adjust the speed? I upgraded the generator on my Massey to an alternator last year so I’ve got the juice to run extra stuff now. :)

Saw a paving crew once that had fans in all there compactor canopies. That’s back in the day of flax bags mind you.

I was wishing for something today when I realized I left my wide brim hat in the house and the black flies where buzzing my face and head (got hit on the leg and arm) and I think a wasp has taken residence in the dash, the wind from fan would be enough to at least keep them out of face.

now I gotta look for a roof.....

You get blackflies in NC?? I thought they were only a northern thing. I inhaled one this afternoon, then yakked it up 10 minutes later. Looks like something out of an Alien movie...felt like it too.

They may be called deer flies, doesn’t matter, they bite and the resulting bite burns for several minutes, longer if you scratch at it, only around in the spring. Then the Horse flies take over.....

I bought several ''Nam'' era head screens for $3 apiece years ago that you wear with a boonie hat and those things are absolute life savers a couple weeks each year.

I got some face nets off Amazon. They came with handy little carry bags to stuff them into when not in use. I keep one in my work truck, one in my personal truck, and two at home. They’re life savers at certain times of the year.
