I would like to make that happen with my truck and each time I look I get trapped in a rabbit hole of but what else should I fix while I'm at it. I have 318,000 miles and zero knowledge of how the internals look. I've only had the truck for 8 months so far. Few more weeks and it's just about a baby.

Just picked my truck up... nitro 4.56 were backordered, plus I work over in Saudi so it’s been gone for 3 months. But finally got the ome 882/ Dakar’s installed. 285/75/16 Yoko m/t’s. Kmc wheels. Then about 4g in other fixes and maintenance.... ready to drive the piss outta it for 2 weeks before heading back overseas. My CV’s don’t look too bad, but I’ve ordered the off road solutions boot kit, I’m expecting to do that soon as they come in.

Re-covered the cracked center console arm rest.

Found a better mounting location for the external speaker for the HAM.

Mounted the molle panelss on the door panels. (been hanging out on my shop bench for a couple months)

Routine oil change, 5 qts of Mobile 1 high mileage synthetic and Mobile 1 filter. Still can’t manage to get the old filter off without making a mess although this time I only made a 4” puddle which adds to the mosaic of stains that chronicles my history of oil changes.

Thanks! I love it. I’m looking into raptor lining it, but with the same paint code tint.

Well I’m the regional Field Service leader for a division of Halliburton (everyone’s heard of them..) and we install Electric Submersible Pumps. A centrifugal multi stage pumping system for water or Oil. It’s been great. Based out of Kuwait but their borders are closed lately, so been all over the region there setting up. At work I get to drive Landcruisers and Prado’s in the desert then Come home to tacos and 4runners in the mtns haha!

Well I finally installed my new Rad Rubber Design splash guards. Very impressed with the quality and thickness of the rubber, but the 1/4 inch push pins they provide didn't work for shit. So glad that I had some on hand that worked just fine. will have to deduct one star on their webpage review.
On another note, when I replaced my PVC valve and grommet the other day, I noticed a change in my trucks smell. Before I changed it, I was always smelling oil in the cab through the fresh air vent. The last two errands I ran, smelled no more oil "Smell".

here's a couple of pics of the new splash guards. Top photo is drivers side, bottom is passenger. I should be good for another 200k miles before I have to replace them again.

Well it seems that I reversed the pins, and used the wrong ones for each of the holes. There are 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch pins. I should have read the instructions five or six times, and I would have caught my mistake. Nothing like having a major senior moment, or a Giant Brain Fart.

One final note. I pulled the wheels off and redid the push pins on the Rad Rubber design splash guards. these bad boys should last quite some time. They even recommend using fluid film on them. I'll find something else. they do fit pretty good and are really thick compared to the factory ones. If you drop the cash on them I think you'll be pleased with them. any questions, hit me up.

Well I've been emailing Rad Rubber back and forth today. Seems I had a senior moment, or a really big brain fart, and put the pins in the wrong holes. Basically I had them reversed. So it seems after talking to Eddie, a really good guy, that I made a fatal mistake in my installation. Good news, is I should be able to fix this without having to order a new set of pins. I'll now in the next couple of days. So just to clarify, their pins are supposed to work without any problems, unless you d something stupid, like I did. Just read the instructions really good. After I did for the third or fourth time, I realized the mistake I made.
