You should have no problem with that size tire, top pic was before a lift and had no rubbing issues.

Bought my taco new in 19' and decided it was time to start having some fun with it. So I bought some new shoes!

17" Helo HE904 Satin Black 0 offset wrapped in 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W.

Couldn't be happier with the way it came out!

Same here! One wheel was off by 7oz!! I’m starting to wonder if it’s the wheels and not the tires that are out of round.

Anyone running 245/75/16s on an 8 inch wheel with -10 offset? I ordered some black rhino wheels and now I am worried it's going to look stupid and I was reading some things that said you shouldn't even mount that tire size on a 8 inch rim.

That tire has a width of 9.6 inches so it should work.
After doing the jazz hands routine on the Googles it looks like Jeeps came with that size tire on a 8 inch rim as well

Cool, I'm still kind of worried that it's going to stick out too far and look odd but we shall see I guess lol

    Hey all
sorry if this is the wrong place for this as well as the newb question...

what are the pros/cons of a 16" to 17" wheel?

Currently running a stock 2020 OR. Its my daily driver as well as adventure rig.
Looking to get wheel/tires set that doesn't mess with mpg much but is a bit more aggressive and handles rough terrain

SCS F5. 16’s 0 offset. Little bit of poke. Happy it’s more than I thought it would be. Falcon wild peaks 265/75/16. No rub, but not many miles yet.

Need advice: 21 Taco TRD Offroad with 16 inch. I want to swap tires and wheels to the following set up. Toyo AT III 265 65 17 and Fuel Covert 17 x 9 with a -12 offset. Anyone know have this offset? Would like to see how far they extend past the fender.

    Or should I go with a 265/70/17?

I've got an all stock 2020 sr5, only change i made was installing 265/70 16 goodyear adventure tires on using the stock factory supplied wheels. All has been good.
