I’m sure you could find a local fab shop to add a high bull bar for you. You might even ask how much would it be to weld it together, buy the diy one and maybe save some money...

I think that little hole is intended to be a drain hole for water. With it being rotated to the right 40 degrees, I'd be concerned about rusting that tip out. looks great though.

    **UPDATE**
It took me a couple weeks to use up a full tank of gas, and I ran it to the beach and back. My overall final opinion is that I'm real happy with it and it's totally worth the few hundred bucks for the update, I've bumped up an additional 2 MPG's and now have solid consistency in the way my RPM's react to my throttle use. Just on the fuel savings alone let's do some quick math... 21 Gal tank, 2 (extra) Miles a Gal, @ $2.50 a gal, in 16,500 miles it will have paid for itself, for me that will take about 2 years.

    Thank you!

It’s definitely an addiction. But I think the next one will be power just for the room. But I’m thinking a laser with a foil kit will be a great toy. None of which will happen until I get the Tacoma mods under control. I really need a re-gear before that happens ;)

You need to factor in the smile on your face when you hit the gas pedal and something actually happens. Priceless!!!

Where's your tent mount on your truck? I can't fit inside my garage when my tent is mounted and was hoping to do what you did with a hoist.

Swapped out the stock TRD tail lights with pro tail lights. Got rid of the chrome and the black bezel looks much better IMO. 20210503_104845.jpg 20210503_110000.jpg

They were a gift, so I'm not sure which ones I have. I'm sure someone on here will offer up a good option for purchasing though! As far as thoughts, I like them. Install was remarkably easy and they work great. The only hiccup installing mine and my dad installing his was in the plugs. When my dad installed his, he thought the plugs didn't match for a bit, because the stock version connects directly into the light housing and the aftermarket has a wire running from the housing to a receiver plug. They fit together just fine. When I installed mine I knew the plugs fit together, but didn't know there was a "right-way" vs "wrong-way" to orient the plugs. The best analogy I can think of is when you go to plug in a USB device and it always seems to be the other orientation than the one you guess it is, but in this case the plugs still fit together and the device just won't work. I installed my lights, plugged in everything without trouble, but nothing lit up until I turned plugs over. Hopefully that made sense...

I was looking at used Taco prices on CL and found this specimen. That's a bumper I've never seen before, it may have come off a train.

Didn’t realize Thanos drove a Tacoma cause that chin is huge! Fab Fours makes the ugliest bumpers I’ve ever seen and this one cost $1800.
